Booking Terms & Conditions

It is a huge honour for us to be asked to help you celebrate your special occasion and we will always do our utmost to ensure we fulfil our obligations. However, it is important to understand that sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, therefore we put a written contract in place to ensure both parties know what is required to ensure your special day is a huge success, and in particular, to understand what will happen if things should go wrong. We've tried not to make our terms and conditions too complicated, we just need to make sure everyone knows what to expect. Although we've tried to keep it simple, this contract is a legal document.

To keep it simple, here is a summary of our Booking Terms & Conditions and 'What It Means for You'. (The full T&Cs can be found further down the page).

1. Definitions
Just clarifying who's who: “You” are the client, and “We” are Crazy in Love. The ‘Activities’ refers to the games, entertainment and equipment you have booked from us (such as Crazy Golf, Guess The Guest, and Garden games).

2. How the Contract Works
Once you send us the booking form and pay the deposit, the booking is official. You're agreeing to our terms, including a few simple course rules everyone should follow.

3. Booking Fee & Payments
A £50 deposit secures your date (payable within 72 hours). The full balance is due 30 days before your wedding. You can pay by bank transfer or PayPal (which may include a small fee).

4. Cancellations
Cancel within 30 days of booking = full refund. Cancel later = no refund of deposit. Cancel within 30 days of your wedding = full fee still due. If we cancel (for reasons within our control), you’ll get a full refund.

5. Unforeseeable Circumstances (Force Majeure)
Things like extreme weather, road closures, or pandemics might stop us from attending. If that happens, we’ll try to reschedule. If not possible, no one’s held liable, but prepayments are non-refundable.

6. Postponements
Need to change your date? If it's more than 180 days away, no extra fees. Less than 90 days = cancellation terms apply. Price may change to match the new year’s rate.

7. Change of Venue
Changing venue is fine if it’s no further than the original one or still within 40 miles of DL13. Further than 40 miles driving distance? A travel charge will be added.

8. Fair Weather Policy
We’re happy to set up outdoors in light rain or indoors if space allows. If it’s truly unsafe (e.g. storms), we may need to cancel or pack down early. No refund if guests choose not to play due to weather.

9. Health & Safety
We want everyone to have fun safely! We may stop play if guests are acting dangerously or are under the influence. Kids under 16 must be supervised, and under-5s can’t play for safety reasons.

10. Insurance
We carry Public Liability Insurance and are happy to share proof if you or the venue needs it.

11. Damage, Loss & Liability
Play at your own risk—we're not responsible for lost property or minor accidents. You may be charged if our equipment is damaged through neglect or misbehaviour.

12. Marketing
We sometimes take photos for promotion. Let us know in writing if you'd prefer not to be included. We’ll always ask parents before using images of children.

13. Ground Requirements
Some of our larger games (including Crazy Golf) need a flat area of around 10m x 10m. Other games need less space, but it’s important that the venue has suitable room for everything you’ve booked.

14. Venue Access & Catering
We need 1 hour before and after for set-up/take-down. Please ensure we can park near the venue. As we’re on-site for 7+ hours, a light meal and drink for the team would be much appreciated! (though not contractually required).

15. Privacy Policy
We’ll use your info to organise the event, take payment, and follow up. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

16. Game Rules - Crazy Golf
